TIP 363
Only implement new things on race day when you tried them before and know that you can execute them right!

Race day is over and hopefully you are happy with the result. Time to look forward to the next event. Time to write down what you did during the race and remember the goods and bads. What went wrong or worked out. It is so easy to forget about the small things that mattered most during your race. So writing those small and important things down can really help you improve next time.

Those last moments before the start can mean the different by being overrun or just taking that little leap to be ahead of all.

There are so many things that you can look at. Preparation the days and hours before the start can help you get focussed to the start line. Those last moments before the start can mean the different by being overrun or just taking that little leap to be ahead of all. What happened during the race? What kind of and when did you take nutrition and did that work for you? Also think about the circumstances your raced in. Was it hot or cold? Windy? And how did you handle these set parameters the days prior to the start and during the day.

Next time you race you know what to expect and hopefully be able to use the good and bad experiences from you previous races to improve this time. Oh, and don’t forget to grab a coffee when you start writing. 😉

Good luck!
